What’s the process?

Step 1 : A 15-min phone call. We can answer any top-level questions and see if a Zoom call to take a deeper dive makes sense.

Assuming it does, we’ll determine who should be on that meeting and set a time. We’ll review the technology, how customers use it to reduce cost and CO2 emissions, how it is typically deployed.

Step 2.  Assuming that your team wants to know more about what a proof-of-concept looks like, the next step is for our electricians & technicians to visit the site, do a through walk through and GAP Analysis, and collect all of the information needed to compile a proposal for a pilot. 

Goals: Film site during walk-thru. ID main incomers, HVAC circuits, main lighting, power equipment, and potential improvement opportunities. Collect all available data (e.g. power bills, other meter metrics if available).

Step 3.  After analyzing the data collected on site, comparing it with legacy data-sets, and extrapolating ROI impact we are ready to present a GAP Analysis Report. A comprehensive proposal outlining a pilot, perhaps a small designed experiment to test the impact of, for example, HVAC efficiency upgrades, lighting retrofits, or solar panel installs.

With the data collected we will give you a number on Phase I energy savings potential. Ex. We can reduce energy waste by 16%. That goal also includes ROI analysis.

If you like what you’ll see we can wire the pilot. If we hit the number, we keep going. If not, we’ll pull the equipment at no cost.

Step 4.  We’ll install per proposal, configure sample dashboards, and start collecting real-time data from the circuits selected to monitor. 

After collecting baseline data, any energy projects being tested will be deployed. After collecting post-test data we’ll have proof of ROI from your own building’s data. 

More importantly, you now have hard cost data on the project to make data-driven decisions about how to proceed.

Step 5.  See impact at every level for any moment. Know whether or not your projects are profitable as they roll out. See results of green initiatives and report CO2 reduction metrics accurately. Keep scaling profitable initiatives. Sunset those that are not driving ongoing ROI.

But isn’t it kind of nice to know?
